The ability you develop to emotionally detach yourself from an emotional relationship that is unhealthy and that generates symptoms of emotional codependency.

What is Emotional Codependency?

The emotional or psychological dependence you may have on your partner, crush, romantic interest or ex-partner. People with emotional codependency regulate their mood and emotions according to the emotions or mood of the person with whom they have an emotional bond. For example; My emotions, feelings, thoughts, attitude and mood depend on the moods, attitude or relationship that my partner has with me.

The main objective of the “Emotional Detachment” workshops is to break emotional codependency through: understanding the psychology and theory of attachment styles, establishing clear and consistent limits with yourself and others, the full commitment to the process, the reprogramming of the subconscious through meditation and conscious writing, the decision to choose a suitable partner and stay away from the wrong suitors, the development of skills to understand your inner child and deactivate emotional triggers and the continuous reinforcement of your self-worth and worthiness.

Each workshop will be developed articulating the following elements:

Psychoeducation:

Information and tools on psychological issues will be provided through videos and texts. In each session you will learn about mental health topics such as attachment styles, childhood trauma, neural plasticity, and subconscious reprogramming.

Tools

Some techniques for recognizing and managing emotional difficulties will be provided in the form of a pdf that you can download and develop at home in your own time and at your own pace.

Art therapy

Art materials will be used to express thoughts, feelings and emotions, and you will understand how the creative process can create emotional well-being. Art therapy is a discipline in the field of psychotherapy in which artistic resources are used for therapeutic purposes. It consists of carrying out simple artistic exercises, which will allow you to express thoughts, feelings and emotions through non-verbal language. The objective of the workshop is to create emotional well-being through psychoeducation and the creative process.

Guided meditations

These meditations use hypnosis and neural reprogramming to create new neural pathways in the brain by changing limiting beliefs to more positive and empowering beliefs. Through daily reinforcement, these meditations will allow you to calm the symptoms of emotional dysregulation caused by childhood attachment wounds that are projected into current situations.
